As I was cleaning up after the hurricane, I ran across some of my older watercolors and pastels, and ran across the portrait of him I did in pastel on my birthday. I also ran across a painting of a black and green scarecrow, and a strange black cat on a background of blue and red. And so on and so forth....
It won't be hard for me to remember when he died, it's rather hard to forget for me, the day after my birthday.
