Purchasing
Every painting has been described as fully as possible with the bandwidth allowed. Most of my original work went under water during Katrina and has been damaged, but it can be repaired.(I also have lots of new work! :) ) It also has more of a story than it previously did,  having gone through so much and surviving. There are scars, stains, etc.  but these will be fully disclosed to you before you make your final decisions. I will not hide anything from you. I can sell you the painting AS IS, which will come with any damage I was not able to repair during the initial  cleaning  and drying process. Or,  for an extra fee I can  do a limited restoration for you. This is getting it sanitary,  and fixing any  tears. A complete restoration is lengthy and costly, but I can do that, too. I have actually sold a few damaged pieces after the storm and everybody liked the imperfections - every one of them told me "It has a story to tell!"  So it is completely up to you.
The reason I have not done any major restoration on all the works is that there are so many, and it would be impossible to do them all in the time I have allotted to me each day. Each painting has been wiped of it's initial nastiness and allowed to air dry, and then  put up when thoroughly dry.
Also disclosed in descriptions are the size,  what  mediums were used and what  the painting was painted on.  I use only good solid quality materials  and paints, and steer clear of anything that seems unsound. I  may be a dreamer, but I would  like  your grandkids and great grandkids to enjoy the paintings as much as  you do today.  Unless specified otherwise, every painting is original,  and there is not another exactly like it  on Earth!

>All paintings are
unframed unless specified and I do not do framing. Framing is such a personal  preference I would have to have a complete frame shop to satisfy everyones requests, so I leave this decision up to you. Certain frames go with decor, wallpaper, etc...Some paintings are odd sized and will have to be custom framed. Most are standard sized, though, and all sizes are disclosed in descriptions.
>Please make sure you like the painting and are sure about it before you buy.All imperfections, history , and sizes of paintings are disclosed in description and any questions will be answered for you. All sales are final,
no refunds, however  if you are truly dismayed please let me know and we can work something out.

>I  can do work on comission, the price depends on what you want, and where you want it, and where you live. Murals are naturally going to be more expensive. Paintings  in oil  can vary in price depending on size  because they have to have their own place to dry.(they dry very slowly!)  Contact me for a quote if interested.

>If you have
any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me at my email sayward@saywardstudio.com  . I  check my email often and will get back with you as soon as possible.                       HOME
