Exhibitions
Serenity  Gallery, Bay St Louis , Old Town
Curator (at the time) Jerry Dixon
I think the buildings have been destroyed by Katrina.
Exhibited there in 2004. Jerry and his Gallery were a pillar of the Art community. He sold to different folks  later.
Daydreams  Bay St Louis
Curator- Teresa Miller
This was an interesting little shop(they had an opossum family living under the floor and they fed them!:) ), I met the curator at a fair  when she was selling candles. I bought some because I could smell them from across the field. We talked, and  I showed them my portolio and I  exhibited there until they notified me they were going to close in September.
I remember the lady that worked there called me and asked me to pick everything up by Aug 31,  and I  was going to go  the weekend before (27 and 28), but decided to do it a week earlier.  I am glad I did as we were too busy the next weekend! I am not  sure how the building did, but I know it was close to the Bay . The curator lost her house and candlemaking shop. When we didn't have lights for a week after the storm, I used the candles I had bought at the fair for light at night. Update-
was flooded all the way through, but still standing.
Pass Christian Art House
Curator Robert Lambert
This was a promising place that  closed before its' true potential was fulfilled. After a while they started selling coffee and pastries. It was a fun place, and I'm not sure what happened to the building, but I am pretty sure it's gone because Pass Christian got hit very hard and it was close to the beach.  Update-
completely destroyed--gone.
Various other  things, small Library exhibits, Coffeehouses, Cafes,  etc.  You never know when  or where one of my paintings will pop up! To all my patrons, THANK YOU!!!!
Before Katrina, I was contacted by a few different legitimate  Organizations  regarding  donating art for auctions to help raise money  for cures.  I support this, and if I didn't get back with you (everything was scheduled for the fall) I apologize - please email me here (sayward@saywardstudio.com) and I will get back to you .
