"The Potato Peeler" (16x20,acrylic on linen mounted on hardboard ) is done in classic 'Folk Cubism' styling.  This one was in storage in my home and was not damaged during the storm. It is ready to be framed and hung.

'Folk Cubism'

While not Cubism in the purest sense, it does have some of Cubisms' attributes. I believe it was Lori Gordon who first used this term to describe my paintings  at an exhibition, and the name really stuck.  Since then it has been used numerous times to describe my work.

"Wine?" (16x20 acrylic on linen mounted on hardboard )  was extensively damaged in Katrina,  and is shown primarily as a classic form of 'Folk Cubism' . If you are interested, I can send you photos of it's present  state. Serious inquiries only, please.  Make Offer.
